What a sweet time the ladies had together Saturday. Approximately 30 ladies were in attendance for our prayer retreat and brunch (thanks to everyone who brought food!). Following our brunch, we gathered around the fireplace and focused our attention on how God's word encourages us to choose daily to set our minds on what the Spirit desires (Romans 8:5-6). Prayer and Bible study are the two tools God uses to help us make Godly choices. Thanks to Andrew and Larry Brown for the skit they performed that spoke so loudly to our hearts. Our Lord longs for us to spend time with Him each day. Our prayer time is an opportunity for Him to guide our thinking and renew our minds. Let's commit to spend time every morning in prayer and Bible study.He's waiting for you today--will you come?
