Palm Sunday to the Passion of Christ

As Easter is quickly approaching, it does us well to remember the price Christ paid for our forgiveness of sins and eternal life.  In the movie The Passion of the Christ the visualization of Christ's sufferings is one of the most gripping portrayals of how the events of Christ's crucifixion may have occurred.  Most on-line video postings from the film are much too graphic for posting here.  However, I did come across this one edited with a song by Cece Winans entitlied "It Wasn't Easy."   Take time to view this and meditate on the words of the song as it applies to your life.

As we prepare for Holy Week, may we, as the Hebrew writer admonished us so long ago, "Fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
