What's Your Vision

Responding to a question about what was worse than blindness, Helen Keller said, "To have sight and no vision."  Our world is full of people from all walks of life who lack depth in their lives because they have no vision.  The are so focused on the immediate and convenient that they never consider what tomorrow may hold.  Their problem...lack of vision.  If you never have a vision, a goal, or pupose in life, you will never become what you could.  These persons are the ones who are always lamenting about their life situations, "Why Me?"

Dreamers and people with a dream are different.  Dreamers talk and do little.  A person with a dream talks little and does much.  God is challenging each of us to grab for his vision for our lives.  This week I will begin a series of messages entitled "Discovering Your God-Given Potential." My vision for the conclusion of this study is that each of you will begin to see God's plan for your life in new and challenging ways that will stretch you to be all you can be for God.

Remember, if you never have a vision, a goal, or pupose in life, you will never become what you could.

Come see us Sunday. We will talk about that.

Pastor Jeff
